How do I make an appointment?
You can do any of the following to make an appointment

How much do you charge?
Our studio rate is $150 per hour, plus 5% GST, however Ryan “Newz” Scarpino charges a rate of $200 per hour. Guest artist rates vary by artist. All permanent makeup is priced for the procedure, not by the hour.
Do I need a deposit to make an appointment?
We require a nonrefundable deposit of $150 or $200 per appointment booked. All appointments needed to complete the tattoo must be booked at the original time of booking. At the end of each session the daily deposit will come off of the total cost, using a portion of your deposit. Please be aware that no drawing will be started or appointment booked until the deposit has been made. For more information on our deposit policy please click here.
What happens if I cannot make my appointment?
If you cannot make your appointment we require 72 hours notice to reschedule your appointment. Appointments cancelled within 72 hours will forfeit their deposit for that day. For more information on our deposit policy please click here.
Can I bring someone with me for support?
We do allow you to bring ONE family member or friend to sit with you while you receive your tattoo. Please do not bring your entire friend group as we are a very busy studio, and our waiting area is reserved for clients. Unfortunately children are NOT allowed in the studio – absolutely no exceptions.
Can I just walk in and get a tattoo, or do I need to make an appointment?
We recommend booking an appointment to get the artist you desire, however we do accept walk in appointments. Not every tattoo can be done as a walk in due to time constraints, artist availability, or design needs, however we will do our best to work with you.
Is there anything I can do to prepare for my tattoo?
Eat a good breakfast, hydrate yourself and get plenty of rest. When dressing for the appointment keep in mind the location of your tattoo – wear loose fitting comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the intended area.
Do you offer free touch-ups on tattoos?
Resident Artists at Dynamic Studios offer one free touch-up on work originally tattooed by themselves within six months of the original sitting. Tattoos exempted from a free touch-up include: hands, feet, fingers, necks, white tattoos and anyone who had a blatant disregard for the aftercare given to them. Exemption of a free touch-up will also include anyone who no-shows for a scheduled touch-up, therefore disregarding the importance of the artist’s time. Ryan “Newz” Scarpino does not offer free touch ups.
Is there anyone you wont tattoo?
We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18(even with parental consent), pregnant or breastfeeding women, hemophiliacs, anyone taking blood thinners, or anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Can I see my design before my appointment?
Due to our artists extremely busy working schedule, we’re unable to provide a copy of final artwork prior to the session. With proper consultation, and researching your artist as well as their previous work, you should be satisfied that your tattoo artist is the right person for the job, and will have something you will love ready for you.
I found a picture of someone else’s tattoo on the internet – can I get the same one?
Our artists WILL NOT duplicate another tattoo, however we will happily help you design a custom tattoo of your own. If you have pictures or ideas from an existing tattoo you have seen in the past you can still bring it into us and we can help design something custom for you based on these ideas. Certain tattoos can obviously be duplicated such as sports logos, symbols, flags, cartoon characters etc. but for the majority we will still try to add some additional “flare” to these designs.
Can I use numbing cream?
We do not recommend numbing creams as they clog your pores, change the texture of the skin, and do not last once tattooing begins.
How long will my tattoo take to heal?
Typically tattoos will take from 2-3 weeks to heal provided you follow proper aftercare. If you have any questions regarding the healing of your tattoo, please call us or stop by the shop.
Do I need ID?
Yes, we require 2 pieces of government issued photo identification for every appointment. We accept the following:
– Drivers License
– Government Identification Cards
– Debit or Credit Cards with name imprint (only as secondary piece)
What forms of payment do you take?
Dynamic Studios accepts all major credit cards to make your tattoo experience simple & seamless! We accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. In addition to accepting debit & credit, we are still accepting cash payments, as well as e-transfers. Sorry, we do not accept personal cheques.
Do you offer vegan tattoo ink?
Yes, we use World Famous Tattoo Ink which is a globally recognized brand. It is 100% vegan and cruelty free. For more information please click here.
